It’s like people want their cake and to eat it too. They go to church thinking they are all right spiritually because they show up, listen to a sermon, follow along in their bibles but when they leave the building, it’s back to same ole. It reminds me when Jesus told the rich young man to sell all that he had. We’re not required to sell all that we have but we must be willing to do so if asked by our Lord. If we’re not willing, then we have demonstrated what is more important to us. Sadly, Lot’s wife demonstrated where her heart was when she turned around and looked back.
